As the UK marks Armed Forces Day this month, Soul Garages is proud to announce the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant – reinforcing its longstanding commitment to supporting veterans, reservists, and service leavers as a vital part of the UK’s automotive talent pipeline.

With more than 2.2 million veterans across the UK and around 15,000 individuals transitioning out of the military each year – many with qualifications in mechanical and electrical engineering – the automotive industry is well placed to benefit from their expertise. The Covenant is part of the Mission Automotive initiative delivered by Mission Community and the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), which helps to translate military skills into rewarding civilian careers.
